Audio-Mastering

Mastering is the most critical part of post-production process that relies on knowledge and hands-on experience. The class begins with an introduction to sound and acoustics. Your decisive skills, which we will impart, will come in handy when an artist relies on you with his vision and creative expectation and engage in part-by-part enhancement by using compressors and equalizers.

Our theory and practical sessions will make you learn how to modify, correct and enhance sound of a sample. We would then help you with Signal Processing to enhance audio material, noise reduction techniques, advanced editing techniques such as album sequencing and manual gain riding, the importance of quality control, and disc / electronic delivery preparation. Plus, you would also learn industry-grade filtering and fading techniques.

This course will make you proficient and equip you with a professional level understanding of the day-to-day mastering process, which will enable you to create a level matched, hi-fidelity, error free, and duplication-ready master with associated documentation.
